Sunday Night Football (Rams @ Lions)

#5

👇 J. Gibbs: U 54.5 rush yards

He continues to split touches with Montgomery. But the real issue here is the Rams' defense, which ranked 5th in rushing defense last season and has been locking down opponents, allowing the 8th-lowest rush percentage over their last 10 games. So, with both volume and efficiency at risk, it’s tough to see Gibbs breaking out in this spot. On top of that, the Rams gave up just 3.8 yards per carry in their postseason matchup against Detroit, which further limits Gibbs' potential.

#4

👇 K. Raymond: O 16.5 yards

His 16.5-yard projection feels way too low. But here’s the thing: the Rams have been one of the worst at containing big plays, ranking 29th in the league with 4.4 plays of 20+ yards allowed per game. So, in a pass-heavy game, Raymond should easily find room to rack up yardage. The Lions, running the 4th-most plays in the league, will feed Raymond enough opportunities to hit this projection.

#3

👇 K. Williams: U 14.5 rush att

The Rams, being 3.5-point underdogs, will be forced to lean on the pass, so expect fewer than 14.5 carries for Kyren Williams. But even if they start with a balanced approach, Detroit’s defense is too strong on the ground. When these teams met in the playoffs, Detroit held LA to just 3.8 yards per carry, and their rush defense ranks among the best in the league. So, it’s hard to see Williams getting enough volume to make a dent here.

#2

👇 J. Goff: O 266.5 pass yards

Jared Goff, on the other hand, will take full advantage of a favorable matchup to surpass 266.5 passing yards. The Rams’ defense allowed the 5th-most pass attempts in 2023, and Goff is projected to throw 38 times in this dome setting. But it’s not just about volume—the Rams ranked 27th in success rate allowed on passing plays last season, priming Goff for a massive game. With Goff completing 67.3% of his passes last season—his career-high—he's set up to thrive in this matchup.
